Turkey Weekend at Freyja: Family, Friends & the Start of Cozy Season

I’ve just come back from a family trip, and it was a good reminder of how important it is to slow down and spend time with the people you love. It’s easy to get caught up in work, to-do lists and all the things that feel urgent. A little time together helps put that into perspective.

That’s what I’m taking into Thanksgiving weekend: more connection, more comfort, and hopefully a second helping of something delicious.

It also feels like the official start of cozy season here in Fernie. If the snow in the forecast arrives, we’ll have every reason to pull out the layers and get comfortable.
